A three-day baby girl died of Covid-19 at Chandigarh on Sunday. The baby's mother, a resident of Daddu Majra, had given birth to the baby in the Civil Hospital at Sector 22 on Thursday along with the baby was brought dead to PGIMER at 11 pm Saturday night.

The baby girl's mom hadn't been analyzed for Covid-19 before her delivery and has been sampled for the illness.

The colony had reported 14 new instances on Saturday. A total of 262 cases are reported from the city up to now, of which 72 are busy scenarios.

The staffers were wearing PPE kits along with the distress of the kits alongside the heat reportedly led to the loss of the familiarity outside Nehru Extension Block.
