As stated by the Railway Ministry, these IRCTC unique trains will likely be in addition to the present Shramik Particular trains being operated as 1 May 2020 as well as Particular AC trains (30 trains) being conducted as 12 May 2020. IRCTC ticket booking could be done exclusively through the IRCTC website or IRCTC mobile application. Tickets for all these trains won't be reserved across the channel's reservation counter. If through the screening in the station, a person has been found to have a very large fever or novel coronavirus symptoms, he/she won't be permitted to board the train despite having confirmed ticket. But, a full refund will be granted into the passenger as under:

I) About PNR (passenger name record) having a single passenger.

Ii) If a passenger is found unfit to commence the journey, on a party ticket, and all other passengers on precisely the same PNR also do not wish to initiate the travel, then full refund will be allowed to them all.

Iii) When a passenger is found unfit to initiate the travel, on a party ticket, while others on the exact same PNR wish to travel, then refund is only going to be allowed to that passenger that was not permitted to travel.

TTE certificates will be issued to passengers at the entry/screening/checking stage itself mentioning the amount of passengers not travelled because of novel coronavirus indications in one or more passengers. After getting the TTE certificates in the station, online TDR must be filed have not went passengers to get the refund, within a length of ten days from the date of travel. Those That Are traveling by these special passenger train providers will observe the following precautions:


  1. (i) Only those with confirmed train tickets will be able to enter the station.

  3. (iii) For thermal screening in the station, passengers might need to get to the railway station at least 1 hour 30 minutes in advance.
  4. Iv) All flying passengers will need to observe social distancing norms both at the railroad station and on trains.
