India Vs China Army Face to face in Ladakh

Chinese and Indian troops stayed participated in an eyeball-to-eyeball scenario in many regions across the Line of Actual Control in eastern Ladakh, signaling the standoff could grow to be the largest military face-off following the Doklam disaster in 2017.

Leading military sources said India has increased its potency in Pangong Tso and Galway Valley - both controversial areas where the Chinese military is learned to have been deploying approximately 2,000 to 2,500 troops, moreover slowly improving temporary infrastructure.

"The potency of the Indian Army from the area is a lot better than our adversary," said a top military officer, asking not to be named.

The Chinese side has especially strengthened its presence in the Galway Valley, erecting around 100 tents in the previous two months and earning heavy equipment for the construction of bunkers.

The situation in southern Ladakh deteriorated after about 250 Indian and Chinese soldiers were engaged in a barbarous face-off on the night of May 5, which spilled over to another day before both sides agreed to"disengage" after a meeting in the level of local commanders.

The episode in Pangong Tso was followed with a similar episode in North Sikkim on May 9. India last week stated the Chinese army was hindering normal patrolling by its own troops and claimed that India has ever taken a very responsible approach towards boundary administration.

In a press briefing, External Affairs Ministry Spokesperson Anurag Srivastava also strongly urged China's contention that the strain has been triggered because of trespassing by Indian forces on the side. India's answer came after China accused the Indian Army of trespassing to its land, asserting that it had been an"effort to unilaterally alter the status" of the LAC at Sikkim and Ladakh.

On May 5, the Chinese and Indian military employees battled with iron rods, sticks, and also resorted to stone-pelting in the Pangong Tso lake region where soldiers on either side were hurt.

The troops of both India and China were engaged in a 73-day standoff from the Doklam tri-junction at 2017.
